"Making a short film"

A.   Conflict

              Bob is in a coma. Most of his life he has been a member of a religion that does not tolerate any kind of invasive surgery or blood transfusion. So, there is a conflict between Bob’s wife, who has recently found out that is pregnant and wants her husband to survive and, Bob’s father who does not want that his son receives any kind of treatment. But the father doesn’t know that Bob is not a member of that religion anymore.

00:37	36 sec.	The doctor talks to Bob’s wife and father.	Doctor: Are you the patient’s wife? Wife: I’m Doctor: Well, the diagnosis is not as comfortable as we will like. We will need to do a blood transfusion and a surgery. Nut, it is very important to have your permission. If not he could die. Wife: Do wherever you need to do. Father: No! You can’t do anything. Doctor: All, my job is to save him. Do wherever you thing is prudent.

01:34	04 sec.	Wife gets upset and confront father.	Wife: No! Get off me. How are you going to let it die?

01:42	05 sec.	Wife tries to convincing him.	Wife: The will of God? Is your will. IF he dies it will be your fault.

2:05	25 sec.	Wife tells the father that something could change everything.	Wife: You don’t understand. Father: There is nothing to understand. Wife: I’m carrying his baby. Father: That doesn’t changes anything. Wife: How doesn’t changes anything? It changes everything. Do you want to let it growth without a father? Father: If that is the will of god.
